About the position
LOCATION STELLENBOSCH - CPT
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
LOGISTICS DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT
- Collating cost items and accurate allocation and processing in ERP System.
- Following up on outstanding cost items and accurate accruals of outstanding costs
DATA ENTRY AND RECORD KEEPING:
- Updating of cost management schedules (including storage, transport, and inspection/survey cost items)
- Uploading and updating of customer dispatches / commodity movement, data entry of load data into ERP system across multiple warehouses
PREPARATION OF AR AND AR INVOICE REQUISITIONS AND ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION TO ACCOUNTS RELATING TO (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Commodity invoicing
- Storage Invoicing
- Secondary Cost Item payments and recovery
- Updating dispatch schedules with relevant invoicing request
- Raising storage invoice requisitions
- Preparation of commodity available for collections notices
- Allocation of new/ prompt contracts
- Handling Cargo docs per respective strategy to be saved on share drive/ Quality cert to be amended/ saved.
- Capturing of intakes per new vessel
- Client Queries Resolution, able to facilitate and resolve queries, timeously and systematically.
MONTH END
- Ensures all invoice requisitions are prepared timeously and before month end cutoff.
- Provide Administrative Support to Logistics team on transport and secondary cost related items.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years' experience ideally in logistics/warehousing/Protein Industry
- Computer literacy is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook a must.
- You must have knowledge and or experience in C&F environment; you must have basic knowledge of SARS and NDA importing and exporting requirements.
- You must have knowledge and or experience of Incoterms and be able to execute accordingly.
