Lifting Machinery Inspector

About the position

A dynamic mining manufacturer and supplier based in Rustenburg, North West is looking to employ a Registered Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Valid Driver’s License
• Candidate must reside in the North West or be willing to relocate
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in the field
• Candidate must be in exceptional health
• All applicants should be able to pass a full medical including, heat tolerance, lung function tests as well as criminal and financial screening
• Good Communication skills (verbal, written)
• Highly motivated, competent & energetic individual
• Pro-active individual with a positive “can-do” attitude
• Place of work is Rustenburg. Must reside in Rustenburg or willing to relocate at own cost.
• Must have complete knowledge of lifting equipment
• On-Site Service and repairs to all makes of Beams, electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks
• Installation and calibration of load limiting devices
• In House Strip and Quotes to electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks
• In House Proof Load Testing to Beams, electric overhead travelling cranes, electric rope hoists and chain hoists
• Modifications to upgrade electrical and mechanical units
• Client Liaison, administration, and correspondence
