Accountant /Bookkeeper at Audit Firm

About the position

Job Description:

• Accounting up to Trial balance (preferable XERO or Sage one accounting)
• VAT201's and VAT reconciliations
• Payroll up to reconciliation - EMP201 and EMP501's (Simplepay)
• Financial statements preparation (preferably Caseware) - Not a necessity but will be advantageous.

SARS:

• VAT and other registrations
• PAYE and UIF registrations
• Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions

SARS Disputes:

• NOO (Notice of objections)
• NOA (Notice of appeals)
• RFR (Request for remissions)
• SARS meetings (teams or in person) to settle disputes and submit documentation for registrations etc.
• SARS compromise agreements
