Junior Maintenance Supervisor / Electrician

As the Junior Maintenance Supervisor / Electrician, you will be responsible  for the rentals maintenance department, including supervision of staff. You will be responsible for refurbishments, delivery and collection as well as managing assets and stock. You will also be responsible administration (e.g. reporting) for ensuring that health and safety is maintained.

 

Duties include:

 

• Electrical Installations 
• Manage budget spend, material ordering and tool allocations
• Coordinate logistics
• Project planning
• Asset management and stock control
• Reporting
• Ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained
• Supervising staff

 

Requirements:

 

• Matric (ESSENTIAL)
• Electrical qualification (ESSENTIAL)
• Wireman’s license would be an advantage. 
• Valid driver’s license (ESSENTIAL)
• Minimum least 3 years’ experience with electrical installations
• Experience with general maintenance (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc).
• Experience managing a team
• Operations Management qualification would be an advantage
