Junior Key Accounts Manager - Chemical Raw Material - Agriculture

About the position

A well-known Chemical raw material company requires a junior sales person to develop new business and manage Key Accounts within the agricultural and animal nutrition manufacturing markets selling chemical raw materials/ chemical additives.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A science degree or diploma or related qualification in Agriculture is essential for this role. Alternatively, candidates can bring a business degree with relevant experience ( no more than 2 years) in the Agricultural industry.
• The ideal person will be a graduate with an Agriculture or Animal Nutrition qualification who wants to move into a junior sales role selling chemical raw materials in the Agricultural Crop Protection and Animal Feed manufacturing industries.
• Person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - an outgoing sales personality and not be scared to visit customers to develop new business.
• Must be resilient, and able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing all key accounts within the agricultural and animal nutrition markets.
• Maintaining existing key accounts as well as identifying new opportunities.
• Developing and expanding product segments with strategic importance.
• Providing technical advice to customers on the development of formulations and trials.
• Conducting market analysis of customers, products, competitors and application markets.
• Presenting reports to senior management regarding strategic market growth and KPIs.
• Collaborating and participating in trade fairs and customer seminars as sales promotion measures introducing new product ranges, concepts and applications to the market

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
