Junior Bookkeeper

Our client is on the look out for a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with 2-3 years of experience (including internships) who is eager to grow with us.

As a Junior Bookkeeper, you will:

• Process supplier orders invoices


• Manage payments, receipts, and financial reports


• Ensure all invoices are available for reconciliation at month-end


• Work with Pastel accounting software


• Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profits and losses, and balance sheets


• Complete VAT returns and assist with auditing tasks

• Matric certificate (no credit listing)


• National Certificate in Bookkeeping (NQF Level 3) or equivalent


• Strong computer skills


• Excellent communication skills for client interaction


• Ability to work with outside vendors and assist the Accountant with administrative tasks

• Contract: 6 months with the potential to go permanent


• Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (Monday to Friday)
