The main purpose of this position is to ensure the development and presentation of training material with the intention of addressing company specific training needs

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist the Management Team with the identification of training needs in their respective business units
  • To identify the training objectives and outcomes as a result of the identified training needs and subsequently ensure that suitable training material is developed.
  • To obtain the input from subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy with regards to the developed training material
  • To take full responsibility for the arrangement of the actual training
  • To present the training material to the learners ensuring learning does in fact take place
  • To develop and obtain approval from stakeholders with regards to assessments upon completion of the training process in order to determine that learning has taken place
  • To do spot checks on all training presented by staff members at Branches
  • To ensure that all Assessments obey to Assessment Principles.
  • To verify all Assessment outcomes.
  • To ensure that monthly reports and other regular reports as requested by Management is supplied timeously
  • To ensure that the completed training is documented on the Premier HR Software System
  • To ensure strict compliance of Departmental and Company Policies, Procedures and SOP’s
  • To complete any other task or duty management may reasonably expect of you

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3 years experience developing and presenting of material
  • Intermediate to advance working knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Word is required
  • Matric/Grade 12/equivalent qualification
  • Relevant and completed Training and Development qualification
  • Relevant and completed Technical Qualification
  • It would be an advantage if the applicant is a qualified assessor and moderator
