PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Manage the overall tax function for the Company

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• International tax – responsibility for transfer pricing
• Income tax – overall administration including tax returns and provisional payments
• VAT – overall management of VAT including monthly returns and payments
• All tax related queries and correspondence with consultants and tax authorities
• Year end tax responsibility including reconciling general ledger accounts
• Any other queries or projects as required by the business.

 

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary finance degree/diploma
• Post graduate tax qualification will be an advantage
• 2 – 5 years experience in a tax role
• Computer Literacy
• Competencies required: Aptitude to work with figures; Planning, Organising and Control; Problem Assessment; Communication Skills; Detail Orientation; Stress Tolerance and able to work in a team as well as independently
