A WORLD CLASS recognised media company is on the lookout for a PR Manager with excellent communication skills,naturally creative and innovative,dedicated and an independent worker.

Minimum Requirements:
PR Diploma,Degree
Journalism/Communications Degree
5 Years experince in PR consultancy/Media environment
3 years Management experience
Social media networking experience

The successful candidate will be responsible,but not limited too:

  • Drive and achieve all aspects of PR with the main intent being to improve understanding of the Company’s PR related strategies, goals and activities.
  • Generate successful PR strategies complementing, enhancing and supporting the Company’s  business model and its audience experience goal and vision
  • Forecast current and futuristic cutting edge PR trends, initiatives and opportunities to ensure a competitive edge within the industry and over competitors.
  • Implement approved PR strategies for station events and key personalities.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to achieve common purpose to maximise trade marketing and to achieve the positive advantages of promotional opportunities for all brands
  • Manage and control all PR aspects associated with media, VIP invitations, guest lists and management of programming initiatives and events.
  • Create and control accurate Press Releases related to publicity, product launches, promotions, events and campaigns, etc.
  • Physically assist with implementation of CSI projects, initiatives, record-keeping etc
  • Profile the Brands and ensure supply of accurate information in trade publications.
  • Liaise with Sales and other interdependent departments on station events etc
  • Accurately interpret the PR objectives for each brand and implement a measurable PR & publicity communications strategy in support of the objectives.
  • Maintain an up to date internal staff notice board and online communication system.
  • Re-inforce the brand and image of the Company when representing the business at all internally or externally hosted functions.
  • Initiate, positively and ethically exploit co-branding promotional opportunities for all Brands when opportunities arise.
  • Take charge of PR required in the event of e.g environmental disasters
Manage and control the internal resources and requirements ie PR staff and the PR departments’ budget(s), management and EXCO reports etc
