Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of 10 Years’ experience within the tobacco industry, leaf and agronomy functions
• 15 years buying experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the leaf procurement function, agronomy, purchasing, packing and shipping
• Implementation of purchasing and pricing policies
• Control and manage all aspects of allocated customer accounts
• Responsible for all internal and global leaf reporting
• Monitoring of all customer requirements from blending through to final product, including by product
• Monitoring and ensuring all allocated customer shipments take place in an efficient manner
