To support the client with overall network management and configuration.

 

The Network Engineer will participate in the day-to-day monitoring and optimising of existing network infrastructure and also partake in full project lifecycle (plan, design and implementation) and several network improvement initiatives focused on enhancing and modernising existing network architecture.

Resolved all Group Five network related problems

Travel to client sites where required (domestic and international)

Office hours 7am – 4pm

Be able to adapt to Clients work culture

Experience working in a pressurised corporate environment

Monthly standby

Requirements: -

 

Advanced Cisco Networking knowledge

Independent worker

Ability to remain focused

Proactive nature

Critical thinker as opposed to analytical

Accuracy

Education / Qualifications: -

 

CCNA required

CCNP optional (depending on experience)

CCSP optional (depending on experience)

Wireless experience

Unified Call Manager experience

PIX/ASA experience

Secure ACS experience

Discovery and sniffer tools

Strong routing and switching experience

Microsoft experience advantageous

At least 4 years current network management and troubleshooting skills
