The candidate will provide support at the employer's client with overall network management and configuration.

The candidate will participate in: -

(1) Day-to-day monitoring and optimizing of existing network infrastructure;
(2) Full project cycle (plan; design and implementation);
(3) Network improvement initiatives focusing on enhancing and modernising.

Requirements: -

(1) CCNA (CCNP & CCSP advantageous);
(2) Own vehicle and willing to travel to client site;
(3) 09h00 to 18h00 working hours (with overtime where required);

Key performance areas: -

(1) Daily monitoring of all network devices and provision of availability reports;
(2) Running with all current projects;
(3) Troubleshooting;
(4) Configuring Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, PIX/ASA, firewall, Secure ACS, Unified Call Manager;
(5) Asset Management;
(6) Continuous updating of monitoring systems, WAN/LAN diagrams, IP address allocating, CISCO ACS, Sintrex, What's up Gold.
