Java Developer

Java Developer – Global Financial Software Firm
Acuity Consultants are currently looking for a Java Developer for a global software firm.  In this role you will be faced with the challenge of writing software used by major global banking institutions. You will be in a very technical environment in which you will receive extensive training with the opportunity to travel abroad. Excellent problem solving skills are required.

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

* National Diploma / University Degree in IT
* At least 2 years experience as a full time developer
* Exceptional Object Orientated analysis, design and development skills
* Experience using an Object Orientated Language, preferably J2SE

The following skills would be a major advantage:

* Experience with Python
* Working knowledge of DB2
* Experience with Unix or Linux
* Experience with SQL Server
