A leading FS Insurance House based in the Johannesburg CBD requires a Head of Strategy and Change to join their team

Role description

Yourmain responsibility is to develop and manage a strategy and operating model for the Strategy function that supports the growth and development of themy client's business through the development, deployment and management of winning strategies. Your duties and responsibilities will include: • Integrate and provide synergy across Departments- Develop, plan for, implement and take accountability for the strategy and operating model of the Strategy Department, partnering with the Executive: Change & Strategy in response tomy client'sbusiness model and strategy. • Manage customer centricity: Contribute to the development of a customer centric strategy in line with future customer needs and requirements to drive customer centricity • Manage continuous improvement across the organisation in alignment with the strategic intent:Ensure process optimisation is prioritised in order to deliver targeted strategic advantage • Maximise cost-benefit ratios:Ensure that the departmental operating framework and model is adequately budgeted for through the development and implementation of fit for purpose budgets. • Manage risk within ethical, legal and the organisation's financial regulations

Who we're looking for

• Relevant post-graduate degree in business management and/or strategy e.g. MBA • 7 years' experience in field of strategy • 5 years' experience in the management of people • Business planning and budgeting • Product knowledge • Financial modelling • Strategy modelling • Research • Business case development
