Excellent opportunity available within the financial services environment for a Governance Officer / Administrator.

Minimum Education
Matic
Submissions Knowledge of CIPC - NB!
Accfin (Secretarial and Masters Function - NB!

Minimum Experience
3 years experience in this industry
Experience with the new and old Companies Act

Critical Competencies
-Understanding and knowledge of
o Companies Act
o CIPRO

-Communication skills (written & verbal)

-Query resolution skills


Key performance inputs / activities
-Keep abreast of changes to company law by understanding:
o Amendments to the Companies Act
o CIPRO notifications
-Prepare documentation for Company Secretary to sign off the following:
o CM forms (as required)
o Annual returns for all Group Companies
o DI800 (monthly)
-Submit signed documents to relevant authorities within set timelines to prevent the payment of penalties
-Update minute books
• Conversions of companies and corporations
• Maintenance of statutory records
• Submission of Annual Returns
• Amendments to and registration of statutory details
• Registered Office Facility
• Voluntary liquidations
• Amending of MOI's
• Registration of Companies
-Maintain SARB correspondence mail log and follow up with relevant individuals with regard to actions required
-Update and maintain the electronic company registers and statutory records for all Group Companies
-Capturing all documents on Accfin
-Submitting documents to CIPC
-Updating of Registrations
-Trusts and Company Policies Act
• Conversions of companies and corporations
• Maintenance of statutory records
• Submission of Annual Returns
• Amendments to and registration of statutory details
• Registration of taxes and levies
• Formation and registration of companies and corporations
• Amending of MOI's
