This company is a engineering design consultancy and project management that focuses on providing engineering design services for projects within the industrial process and utilities sectors such as food and beverage, light industrial, retro-chemical, pharmaceutical, water and waste and utility infrastructure.

Core responsibilities:

You will be required to run projects though the project life cycle from design to procurement and implementation phases as well as on site commissioning, liaise with clients regarding potential work and existing projects, negotiate with potential clients, compile technical specification documents for tenders, bill of quantities, construction monitoring and cost control.

Qualification:

National Diploma: Electrical Engineering

Experience:

Min 4 – 7 years experience.

AutoCad

Calulations

Conceptual and detailed design

Compiling technical specification documents for tenders and preparing bill of quantities

Quality assurance and design compliance

Skills Required:

Design of MV reticulation and distribution systems including switchgear and protection systems

Transformer design, sizing, specifying and selection

Design of LV switchgear such as distribution boards/panels, MCC, remote panels and junction boxes and HMI. Design of lighting and small power systems, standby power and UPS systems.
