PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Create new business for Absa Vehicle and Asset Finance (AVAF) through building relationships with Internal stakeholders such as the Branch network, Workplace Banking, Brokers, Trust, AVAF Sales Consultant, etc as well as existing and new customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage internal stakeholders achievement of sales targets
  • Identify approved applications as received from Signio (Management Information System (MIS)), initiate contact with client and dealer through active monitoring
  • Drive the end-to-end process of application approvals and contracts as per take-up percentages agreed in the Performance Development (PD) Plan
  • Facilitate and coordinate the delivery and take-up of all approved deals
  • Enhance the brand by personally ensuring the visibility of the brand on the branch network floor
  • Provide training on products and systems to Internal Stakeholders
  • Conduct quick check of files on contract with regards to necessary documentation
  • Identify Branches through the tracking of business volumes and determine and address reasons for low sales volume
  • Achieve Value Added Products (VAPs) target as agreed per PD, by making the customers aware of the different product and by selling the VAPs
  • Create awareness on VAPs for Retail Sales Consultant during Branch Network visits

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification or higher
  • NQF Level 4 FAIS Qualification with 30 credits
  • Two (2) years Retail Sales Experience
  • Two (2) years FAIS experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
  • No criminal record

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • National Diploma in Marketing or Finance or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification or higher
  • B degree in Marketing or Finance or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or higher
  • Four (4) years marketing experience in the Vehicle and Asset Finance environment
  • Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status
