About the position

Our client is seeking least 3 Years experience in inventory management to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and enhancement of the Inventory Management System
• Management of company policies regarding stock management.
• Maintain and manage stock levels
• Plan and manage logistics operations
• Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers and transport companies.
• Implementation of best practise logistic principles
• Picking and packing
• Receiving and dispatching
• Ensuring overall cleanliness
• Organised and clearly marked stock
• Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly stocktakes and audits.
• Ensure that all stock movements are recorded in the Inventory Management System

Qualification and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or related field
• Tertiary qualification related to inventory management
• Computer literacy - MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Sound experience in Excel with the ability to provide reports
• Sage Accpac Experience would be highly advantageous.
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• Stock Management and reconciliation experience.
• Sound ability to work within a computerised administrative environment.
