Internal Sales - Export

About the position

Leading manufacturer and supplier of metal products has a position for an "Export Internal Sales Administrator".  This position is based in Industries West, Germiston, close to Rand Airport.
Matric and 3 - 5  years exports experience with specific emphasis on road and sea freight 
Exports experience into African countries is essential
Manage all assigned export accounts and administration requirements and generate profit through the effective selling and marketing of the range and other related product to Africa and the world

Quoting all assigned accounts
Sales in accordance with budgeted requirements for areas
Grow the Export customer base
Quoting all customers in appointed markets
Reconciliation of debtors
Reconciliation, payment and commission accruals
Back up / support of Export Controller when required 
back up / support to Export Traders when required
Key Account management
Booking orders and following Export procedures 
Reconciliation of Credit Insurers
Set up meetings and booking of Hotels, Air tickets and car hire for business trips
Keeping accurate account of FX given to Sales Reps

Sound knowledge of export procedure
Sound  knowledge of country specific requirements (inspection, fumigation, routing, GPS, etc.)
Sound knowledge of Export Documentation Software

Full working knowledge of export department procedures, from inquiry to payment completion
Sound knowledge of export payment procedures (TT, Letter of Credit, etc.)
Sound knowledge of company policy
Sound knowledge of export customer base and customer specific requirements
Export experience with be advantageous
