HSE Coordinator (SACPCMP)

About the position

Our client, a prestigious engineering company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced HSE Coordinator with a solid background in the petro-chem/refinery maintenance sector to join their team in Cape Town on contract.

Please not that only SACPCMP registered candidates will be considered as per our client's requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

• You will have a Matric, as well as a Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or Disaster Management, as well as an additional OSHA diploma or certificate - SACPCMP is essential, CHSM is advantageous.
• You must have at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience, and a knowledge of Oil and Gas, Engineering, Marine, General Heavy Industry, OHSAct, ISO 45001, lifting, rigging, welding, cutting, general workshop activities.
• You must be proficient in MS Office and have sound knowledge in Construction Regulations (you will undergo an exam), coupled with ISO [Phone Number Removed]; information and standard.
• You must have knowledge of safety policies and procedures, excellent Incident Investigation skills, excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills / Excellent interpersonal skills
• You must be analytical and have outstanding probability and decision-making skills with an attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• You must have effective organisational skills, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
• You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
