About the position

DUR002078 – HR Generalist - Umhlanga
Purpose of the job:
To oversee and manage various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance reporting, and strategic planning to support the organization's goals and foster a positive work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in generalist HR, HRBP, senior HR officer, or related roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the selection of top talent that aligns with our organizational culture and objectives.
  • Act as a mediator and advisor in resolving workplace disputes and conflicts, fostering positive employee relations and a harmonious work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) / Annual Training Report (ATR) for SETA
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
