About the position

Postion Summary:
iThemba LABS seeks to appoint a Human Resources Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the BU strategy aligned with the People and Culture strategy to meet the needs of the business unit and drive the business unit·s components of the overall NRF·s HR KPIs;Implement and track transformation programmed to support the implementation of the transformation goals;Work with the departmental heads to review fit for purpose org structures
  • Accurate monthly and quarterly reporting on deliverables, non-conformance and flagging of potential risks to the People and Culture Manager
  • Contribute meaningfully to drive the people agenda for the overall business success and drive optimum cost efficiencies (Performance Management, Employment Equity, Training and Development, Talent and Succession Management, Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, Change Management and Culture

Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma / NQF 7

Minimum Experience:
  • 5-8 years
  • B Tech Degree or equivalent in HR / Industrial Psychology / related field

Experience:
  • Must have a total of 5 years HR working experience of which 3 years must have been an HR Generalist Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and proceduresExperience in facilitating HR programs with established policies and procedures Experience preparing and maintaining HR reports Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance

Knowledge:
  • Sound Knowledge and experience of HR Legislation, statutory regulation, Policies and PracticesKnowledge of HRIS SystemsCoaching management on implementation human resources policies and proceduresCCMA
