About the position
I'm looking for an experienced Head: Unlisted Properties
Division: Property
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in property studies, quantity surveying, building science, property development & management or equivalent qualification (NQF level 8)
- Business Management postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
- FAIS RE 05 and 03 Certificate or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
- Minimum 10 - 15 years' experience within the Property Investment Industry of which 5 years must be at Senior Management
- Knowledge of Property Asset Management, Property Law, Property Development, Property Acquisition & Disposal, Accounting and performance calculation
- Sound & Strong Leadership with prior Board experience.
Duties:
- Setting the overall strategic vision, leadership, growth and direction of the Properties division
- Develop the unlisted property Investment strategy and oversee its implementation for optimal outcomes in line with client mandates and expectations.
- Lead dynamic teams in executing unlisted property investments ethically and efficiently
- Continuous optimisation of property portfolios both direct and indirect assets and related investment vehicles to meet client return objectives
- Involvement at Senior Management/Executive level to ensure business efficiency and effectiveness
- Portfolio risk management in line with client mandates
- Lead dynamic teams in executing unlisted property investments ethically and efficiently
