About the position
Our client in the Legal Industry is seeking a Head of Claims who can join their team.
Someone with necessary or relevant skills:
Duties:
- Compiling, adjusting, implementing and enforcing of tactical business plans to foster achievement of strategic objectives set for the Claims Department
- Analysis of Claims Trends
- Building and monitoring of professional relationships with Network Lawyers
- Monitoring and overseeing of complaints from Members and Network Lawyers
- Updating and maintaining the Policy Application document
- Streamlining of various claims processes and recommending improvements or other changes to policy
- Recommending, gaining approval and overseeing all changes to the Pinnacle system
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the workflow and/or business processes
- Identifying and testing the accuracy of claims reports to be developed for the different spheres of business
These are the following prerequisites to join our team:
- Completed Legal Degree (LLB, BProc, BJuris or BA Law) essential
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years management experience essential
- Experience in respect of budget management, human resource practices and operations essential
- Must be computer literate
- Must speak English fluently
- Ability to speak one other official African language advantageous
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport essential
- Must be willing to travel
