About the position

• Ensure that company procedures are always adhered to
• Assist with installations and / or modification to equipment or services when necessary
• Advise management of spears or equipment or services when necessary
• Maintains all equipment at optimum operation
• Ensure that all systems are adhered to - Job cards, change overs, preventative maintenance schedules, etc
• Carries out repairs effectively with the motto "Right First Time"
• Ensure safety standards are always maintained
• must be able to weld (arc and /or tig)
• Preventative maintenance (area)Assist with breakdown expediently even if it conflicts with tea, lunch, or end of daytime when millwrights are busy
• Train setters and machine specific operators

Desired Skills:

• Engineering (Mechanical skills)

Desired Work Experience:

• 5 to 10 years

Desired Accreditations:

• Engineering Council of South Africa
