You've kick started your career in financial planning and the part you enjoy most if the research and analysis that happens before you can advise a client. This is your chance to focus on just that without the client consultation side of things so no need for you to find clients, do sales or chase targets.
You'll be doing highly technical investment analysis work to propose solutions and your main responsibility will be to prepare financial proposals and assist members. You will propose solutions and draft financial recommendations to help clients meet their financial goals and needs.
You'll be joining a small and innovative firm that provides customised financial planning and investment services to retirement funds and their members. They have been going for over 7 years and have experienced phenomenal growth so you will be part of a young dynamic team that strives to make a difference. Their beautiful professional offices are based in Bellville, you'll be office based while being surrounded by a team of people just like you and where career growth is inevitable.
This is financial planning so of course a completed CFP is first prize or at least studying towards your Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and you need to have completed your RE 5. You need to have gained no less than 2 years' experience in financial planning administration or as a Financial Planner with solid investment and retirement product knowledge. The business is paperless so Advanced Excel skills are essential and you'll be compiling presentations so PowerPoint is needed to. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential due to the reporting and data you'll be working with. Being fluent in Afrikaans and English is highly advantageous.
