What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will receive leads on a daily baisis, follow a detailed financial planning process to onboard all prospective clients and advise them on their investments. You will assist clients with tax planning, estate planning, wills and offshore investing where required. You will conduct investment reviews with your clients and monitor all FICA compliance as required. You will be provided with leads to help you build your portfolio of clients, so no need for you to go out and cold call/hunt for clients.

Where you'll be doing it
You will be based in a small, structured, professioanl and very supportive office in Newlands, Cape Town where you will form part of a team of 11 employees, of which 3 are support staff. The firm is an independent firm which means you really can give your clients the best possible financial advice.

What you'll need
Due to the nature of the role having a strong focus on investments, you need to have a completed commercial/investment degree and currently doing your Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. CFP is highly advantageous. A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Wealth Manager or Financial Planner is essential as this will help you hit the ground running! To further delevop and grow in this role you will need to be open to continuously learning about the markets, tax regulations, and different investment vehicles. You will also get to contribute to the training of the junior Financial Planners.
