About the position
- Prepare and distribute all reports required on time
- Maintain an orderly, updated accounting filing system for all documents.
- Coach non-financial managers on interpreting and communicating financial data.
- Assist Heads of Departments with the preparation and review of annual budgets as well as financial reports
- Assist with the preparation, consolidation and review of strategy, plans and budgets for the division and each branch
- Contribute to short-, medium- and long-term business planning.
- Research financial information for audit purposes and financial reporting
- Ensure fair allocation of workload.
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting reports and obtain input and commentary on performance, progress and reasons for variances where relevant.
- Ensure that reconciliations and controls are performed and signed off timeously.
- Identify and report financial irregularities and potential problems to the Senior Financial Manager
- Prepare periodic financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and obtain input and comment on the performance, progress and reasons for variances.
- Year-End Audit preparation and Auditors Assistance
- Prepare monthly income statement per branch as per requirements.
- Develop and provide reports for all departments linked to Syspro, i.e sales report, purpose report
