Financial Clerk

About the position

A young Agricultural Commodity Trading company based in Centurion, Gauteng is looking for a Junior Financial Clerk to assist with their financial administration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Checking invoices and loading on accounting system
• Resolving any Invoice queries
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Assist with supplier and customer credit applications, including gathering supporting documentation and monitoring of progress
• Arranging PPECB to inspect grain product for export
• Ensuring that all export documentation is completed
• Doing Sagis reporting on a monthly basis
• Ensuring that all electronic filing is up to date and correct
• Maintain office supplies

Qualification, Experience and Skills required

• Grade 12
• Certificate or Diploma in Finance advantages
• Prev 1 - 2 years' experience with in an Administrative or Financial role
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong Numeracy skills
• MS Office Suite with a focus on Excel
• Previous experience working on an accounting system
• Preferably bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Process driven
• Good moral principles and ethics
• Confidence to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to cope with large volumes of work
