About the position
Our esteemed client is a private equity investment company with a global presence, that is currently seeking to add a financial accountant to their dynamic team. The position initially offers a 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent role. We believe this opportunity would be an excellent fit for a qualified candidate who is looking to grow and develop their career in this field.
The Financial Account will be championing the implementation of new consolidation software at group level, as well as investigating new accounting software for the group once the consolidation software is operational.
Key responsibilities:
- Project manage Quick Consol consolidation software implementation,
- Collaborating with group financial teams to streamline financial month-end reporting,
- Ensure timely and accurate review and preparation of management accounts and reports,
- Refine and enhance existing accounting systems and processes and provide guidance and assistance on complex reporting items,
- Ensure processes in place to ensure consistent reporting across the group,
- Investigate, research, and recommend new accounting software packages for group.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles
- Experience with ERP and Consolidation software
