Financial Accountant (Hybrid)

About the position

Join a prominent company specialising in flexible funding solutions to businesses for purposes such as cash flow management, capital expenditure, and investments for growth. Their aim is to support business growth without depleting working capital resources.
Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with strong expertise in Excel and experience with financial software. The ideal candidate will have completed SAIPA or SAICA professional qualifications, which will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Software Management: Utilize Sage Evolution, Xero, and Credit Ease for financial operations and reporting.
• Data Capturing: Accurate and timely data capturing for various financial transactions.
• Monthly Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations including banks, fixed assets, funding, payroll journals, prepayments, and accruals.
• Supplier Reconciliations: Capture and reconcile supplier information at month end.
• Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA qualifications.
• Exceptional Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Sage Evolution, Xero.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to visit the Johannesburg office as needed.
