Purpose of the Role;
LEZA seeks to employ a Financial Accountant to fulfil a specialist function in respect of handling various financial matters for the business. The successful incumbent will be responsible to also manage the administration and reporting of payroll in line with applicable legislative requirements. In-country Support function in preparing Management and financial Accounts.

You will be responsible for:

• Contributes to effective financial management practices and cost saving initiatives.
• SAGE Inventory Control and Physical Stock Count.
• Attends to customer queries and resolves customer complaints in line with business requirements.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparation of management reports.
• Audit and Taxation schedule preparation.
• Creditor Age Analysis.
• Ensuring that there are copies of all supplier contracts filed.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of fixed asset reconciliations.
• Preparation of prudential regulatory returns (quarterly and annual).
• Processing of monthly statutory returns.
• Processing of underwriting results.
• Provides assistance with the claims payment process.
• Review and authorization of creditor's reconciliations and creditor payments.
• Supervise the allocation of credit criterions to policy holder contracts.
• Financial Reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as and when required.
• Ad hoc projects involvement

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• BCom Accounting/Finance degree.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' finance/accounting experience

Skills and Competencies Required:

• Must be computer literate
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to speak one other official African language advantageous
• Must be able to speak and write in English at a highly proficient level
• ACCPAC experience advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Must relocate at own cost
• ITC/criminal check will be a requirement
• Applicable Psychometric assessment/s will be a requirement
