An opportunity has become available for a Finance Manager
Purpose of the job:
To spearhead our financial operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic oversight across various functions.
Required Qualifications
- BCom Degree
- Completed SAIPA / SAICA – highly advantageous
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the financial management function, including cash and equivalents, debtors, creditors, inventory, payroll, taxes, and associated controls.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Implement and monitor internal control systems, including procurement policy and inventory control, to mitigate business and financial risks.
- Optimize cash management and payments, including weekly cash forecast preparation.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, dashboards, and variance analysis reports.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, including depreciation calculation and journals.
- Review general ledger reconciliation with supporting documents.
- Assist in annual budget preparation.
- Ensure company compliance, government liaison, and statutory audits.
