About the position
A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager for a Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
Main purpose of the role is to oversee critical functions ensuring seamless operations and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (South Africa) designation is mandatory.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior finance management role.
- Extensive experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proven track record of overseeing successful audits and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing teams, with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong understanding of information systems and experience in overseeing IT infrastructure.
- Experience in procurement processes and supply chain management would be advantageous.
- Prior experience working in a regulatory or public sector environment would be advantageous.
