JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the role is to oversee critical functions ensuring seamless operations and compliance within the Company. This includes managing the general ledger, preparation of annual financial statements, supervising accounts payables and receivables, and facilities management. Additionally, the management of the outsourced ICT function. This position plays a pivotal role in efficiently managing resources and achieving strategic objectives of the Company..

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (South Africa) designation is mandatory.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior finance management role.
• Extensive experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proven track record of overseeing successful audits and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Experience in managing teams, with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong understanding of information systems and experience in overseeing IT infrastructure.
• Experience in procurement processes and supply chain management would be advantageous.
• Prior experience working in a regulatory or public sector environment would be advantageous..
  JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  The role has 4 direct reports and the finance manager reports directly to the Director Operations who is also the CFO.
  Financial:
• Manage the full finance function, including monthly management accounts and compliance monitoring.
• Manage decisions on procurement for the Company.
