About the position

JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the management of the Earth Observation Programme, ensuring it is appropriately positioned on a sustainable basis to deliver strategic programmes for the benefit of the sectors, markets and communities that it serves. The Executive Director is also a Member of the Organisations Executive Team and as such shares a collective responsibility for the strategic oversight of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• A Masters degree in relevant Earth Observation and Geospatial field
• An MBA will be an added advantage
• At least ten (10) years experience at senior management level in the Earth Observation environment
• Three (3) to five (5) years experience at executive management level
