To accurately estimate the cost of a shopfitting project.

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the retail store design sector. All duties would take place in this context.

• Analysing plans and drawings
• Compile bills of materials
• Determine labour requirements
• Calculate the cost of materials and labour
• Create quotations and assist with proposals

Key Job Deliverables:

• correctly determine bill of materials and labour requirements
• compile detailed cost estimates
• prepare accurate quotations

Qualifications & Background work experience:

• Quantity Surveying or Estimating related qualification

• Estimating the entire shopfitting project

• Determine the full bill of materials and get quotes from suppliers
• Work with project team to determine labour requirements and cost them
• Read drawings to determine the projects materials requirements
• Advantageous: Tier-1 retail store revamp projects

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R420K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
