Estimator - Mining Industry

About the position

Hire Resolve's client, in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage external reconditioning at suppliers
• Assist end-users with warranty claims and provide expert advice
• Expedite outstanding RFQs and purchase orders with suppliers
• Ensure necessary PODs are obtained and submitted
• Track late orders as priority and continuously to ensure deliveries are made
• Track, communicate, and confirm deliveries
• Arrange transport for deliveries
• Ensure that normal and abnormal recon spares transportation to and from the mine is installed and coordinated with the end-user suppliers, colleagues, and transport contractor
  
• Arrange collection of special and large equipment at suppliers to eliminate excessive handling
• Communicate special instructions to expeditor and transport contractor regarding sensitive spares, to prevent damage

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Technical qualification, e.g. Trade Test Certificate
• Certificate in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• 3-5 years of Technical Purchasing and Supply experience within the mining industry
• Warehouse knowledge and experience
• HIRAC experience

Benefits:

• Salary: R360k-R400k per year
