REQUIREMENTS:

Mature, technically minded person
Electrical / construction background
Own transport essential
Good mathematical knowledge
Matric essential
Quantity Surveying background preferred
Estimating courses
DUTIES:
Reading of construction drawings
Estimate quantities from architectural drawings
Analyse labour, material and time requirements
Costing
Complete Bills of Quantities
Quotations
Communicate with consulting engineers
Able to absorb knowledge from SANS or other codes of practice
