Electronics Engineer at iMat Manufacturing

About the position

The sucsessful candidate with be heading the electronics department and work closely with the production team.

Embedded Hardware:

• Fault finding and repair of PCB's
• Create and make changes to Autodesk Eagle & Diptrace projects and schematics
• Create Bill of Materials for projects
• Generate gerber and drill files
• Technical support for new and existing projects

Embedded Firmware:

• Able to create new firmware projects using MPLAB, Visual Studio Code (PlatformIO), Arduino
• Able to make adjustments to existing firmware projects

Desired Skills:

• Minimum 1-2 years Embedded hardware development experience
• Minimum 1-2 years Embedded firmware development experience
• Familiar with manufacturing environment
• C/C++/C# coding
• Testing & debugging
• MPLAB (XC8 compiler) experience will be an advantage
• EPS32 & IoT
• PCB design
• schematic and PCB layout
• 2D CAD design experience with laser cutting will be an advantage
• Advance Microsoft Office skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Analytical and lateral thinking skills
• Excellent time management skills are essential for this position

Desired Work Experience:

• 1 to 2 years Electronic Engineering

• Degree
