About the position

Electrician required for a reputable steel company based in Gqeberha , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

• Maintenance of High Voltage Transformers, High Voltage Switch Gears.
• Maintenance of Low Voltage Air circuit breakers, MV panels, MCC panels, Lighting Distribution Boards.
• Maintenance of Induction Furnace Crucible and Power Track Panel.
• Maintenance of Furnace Auxiliary Electrical Equipments.
• Maintenance of Continuous Casting Machine Auxiliary Electrical Equipments and Knowledge in PLC system.
• Carrying Preventive, Periodical Maintenance as per Maintenance Planning Schedules, and maintaining records of operations, maintenance data sheets for the all equipments.
• Monitoring and Maintenance of all Protection Relays.
• Attending all Electrical Machineries breakdowns and rectifying it immediately.
• Monitoring and Maintenance of Reverse Osmosis Plant.
• Carry out the maintenance work of all electrical equipments in EOT cranes such as MH panel, AH panel, CT and LT panel, and checking the functions of all motors, limit switches, thrusters and master controllers.
• Maintenance of Electro Magnet and Control Panel
