Job Description:
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their team at a mining operation in Limpopo. The Mine Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the mine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the mine, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, motors, generators, and control systems
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions, and implement appropriate repairs and solutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete all necessary documentation and record-keeping related to electrical maintenance activities
- Provide training and guidance to other mine staff on electrical safety and maintenance practices
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as an Electrician or equivalent certification
- Grade 12
- N3 Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Electrician in a mining or industrial environment
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a remote mining location in Limpopo
