About the position
- Project Leadership: Take charge of specific projects from design to commissioning, ensuring they meet requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects and contractors adhere to safety and legal regulations as per OHS Act standards.
- Standards Adherence: Maintain project, design, and execution standards according to company guidelines for all CAPEX and Extra-Ordinary Projects.
- Contract Administration: Initiate and manage contracts in partnership with the procurement department.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee the upkeep of site infrastructure and services, including electricity reticulation.
- Electrical Expertise: Provide technical guidance to ensure effective, safe, and compliant electrical operations.
Desired Experience QualificationCritical Requirements:

- Qualifications: Grade 12; BSc in Electrical Engineering or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering; GCC certification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant legislation, SAP, MS Project Management, and Contract Management.
- Skills: Proficiency in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, People Management, and Business Acumen.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in continuous operations, with at least 5 years in project management within a similar field.
