You will dive into the intricacies of accounting and fund administration within a niche of Transfer Agency services by working through daily banking processes and reconciliations to tax compliance as well as client servicing. You will also be expected to conduct daily trade order validations and submissions, conduct quarterly statutory reporting and general ledger preparation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, contributing directly to the success of the organisation's products and services.
You will join a leading financial services provider who administers over R315 billion in retail assets and offers Transfer Agency administration services for Unit Trust, Retirement, Life and LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) products. You will join a team that values integrity, accountability, and teamwork while embarking on a rewarding career journey in professional offices in the heart of Cape Town's financial hub, Claremont.
To excel in this role, you'll need a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Accountant gained in professional services, ideally financial services and you will need a completed BCom or BTech in Accounting or Financial Accounting. Your proficiency in financial software and systems, coupled with knowledge of tax laws and regulatory requirements, will be invaluable assets in this role. This is a BBBEE position.
