About the position

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of depot operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of products
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production and distribution
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to food safety and workplace safety
- Supervise depot staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with other departments, such as production and sales, to coordinate depot activities
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to depot operations
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track depot performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized depot facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years in managing silo bag depot sites with emphasis on wheat, maize and soybean
- Grading certified(Maize and Soyabeans)
- Fumigation certified
- Health & Safety certified
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software programs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans
