Data Analysis Support/Tutor & Course Developer

About the position

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Data Analysis Support/Tutor & Course Developer. In this role, the candidate will not only provide support and tutoring to students but also contribute to the development and enhancement of our Data Analytics training programme.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support and guidance to students enrolled in our Data Analytics training programme.
• Conduct tutoring sessions to help students understand concepts related to data analysis, SQL, Python, Excel, and Tableau.
• Assist in the development of curriculum content for the training programme, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the instructional design team to create engaging and effective learning materials, including presentations, exercises, and assessments.
• Incorporate feedback from students and instructors to continuously improve course content and delivery methods.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data analytics tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning objectives.
• Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and other events related to data analytics training.
• Support the recruitment and training of new instructors as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, with the ability to effectively teach and explain these concepts to others.
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in curriculum development or instructional design is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are eager to pursue a career in data analytics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
