Creditors Clerk at Wholesalers and distributors

About the position

Looking for a change and have solid Full creditors Management experience !!.

Wonderful opportunity to join an established Distribution and wholesale company based in Melrose Arch.

Must come from a stock environment ( Retail or FMCG or manufacturing like sectors not negotiable

Must have at least 2 - 5 years working experience as a Senior Creditors Clerk taking charge of the full mangement of creditors with Rebates and suppier claim experience .

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Manage the creditors clerk who captures all creditors stock invoices into Pastel
• Capture all non-stock supplier creditors into Pastel
• Reconciliation of creditors statements to detailed creditors ledger
• Processing of rebates and claims in accordance with deal sheets supplied by procurement department
• Preparation of supplier payment packs in accordance with supplier terms and internal controls
• Update and management of pallets receipts and returns
• Management of required performances to achieve rebates and spends set out in supplier agreements
• Sending of remittance advices and dealing with creditors queries
• Ad hoc reporting and reciliations requested by the procurement department and senior accounting team

Qualifications

• Matric - Grade 12
• Bookeeping diploma advantageous

Skills required

• Experience in working with the accounts payable module on Pastel - not negotiable
• Experience in creditors function
• Experience with Excel
• working days Monday - friday and work saturdays 8am - 1pm
