About the position

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an energetic and dynamic Cost Accountant based in Woodstock at the client.

• Analyze and report profit margins by product/class
  
• Investigate and report on profit margin inconsistencies
  
• Maintain & monitor accurate bill of materials
  
• Inventory control
  
• Organize, investigative & report on stock takes
  
• Implement Min/Max quantities for RM & FG
  
• Procurement (Raw Materials) – international &local
  
• Plan & co-ordinate International Shipping (Exports & Imports)
  
• Cost Analysis of labour & machinery
  
• Implementing cost standards
  
• Collecting Cost information on raw materials and creating a database
  
• Analyzing Manufacturing Operations, Equipment availability & utilization
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification National Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting or B.Com
  
• Minimum years of experience 10 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
  
• Compliance requirements
  
• Computer literacy Microsoft Office applications & various ERPs
  
• Syspro is preferable
