Job Mission / Objective
Originate and manage a portfolio of corporate banking clients, which include ONEBANK Names, multi-national companies, and South African corporates.

- 5x clients (Onebank Names) onboarding on an annual basis (accounts opened and active)
- 20x clients (SA Corporates) onboarding on an annual basis (account opened and active)
- 10x new approved credit applications on an annual basis (lending) (Onebank names and SA Corporate)
- Asset book growth of R450m on an annual basis
- Liability book growth of R300m on an annual basis
- Manage the Operational Banker workflow - Including the Transactional Banker performance contract and review

- Portfolio growth and customer satisfaction

Main Responsibilities
- Meeting with and interviewing clients, discussing their financial requirements, and providing appropriate financial advice
- Discuss and agree terms and conditions of facilities with clients
- Prepare loan documentation and onboarding documentation for clients
- Originate liabilities from ONEBANK Names, Multi-National companies, and South African corporates
- Drive the onboarding of ONEBANK names, multi-national companies, and South African corporates
- Implement client relationship plans for portfolio that also supports group efforts pertaining to the Bank Nation
- Drive transactional business, advances, trade finance, FX and liabilities
- Work with the broader Bank group to onboard ONEBABK Names and South African Corporates in those countries
- Prepare credit applications for submission to deal forums, the respective Management Credit - and Board Committees as required
- Ensure that credit applications are of a high standard and appropriately cover risk, income, strategy, and business opportunities

Job Requirements
Academic Knowledge:
- B Comm / relevant degree
- FAIS RE5 examination
Work Experience:
- 2-10 years corporate banking experience
Skills / Specialized Know How:
- Thorough understanding of corporate banking, financial products, financial structuring, and general banking products
- FAIS compliant
