The Ridout Group was established on the 1st November 2004. Established initially as Ridout & Associates, four years ago by Robert Ridout, this business has matured into a solutions based Recruitment & Human resources group.
Robert Ridout started in the recruitment industry in the fast paced London market place. After spending seven years in South Africa developing search based businesses for JSE listed groups he decided to open his own business in January 2001. Robert operated the business initially as sole proprietor for two and a half years. He later opened two more divisions within the group and converted all the branded businesses to Close Corporations. The businesses were mainly focused on providing solutions in the Western Cape market place. During this period the business grew from two to ten staff members.
During 2004 Robert Ridouts dream of a diversified recruitment group was further realised through the structuring of a PTY LTD called The Ridout Group.

Brief synopsis
We are an empowerment group focusing on developing recruitment and HR businesses that provide solutions to clients in South Africa.
We are located in Cape Town and Johannesburg and have three subsidiary businesses in the Group at present.
Our core methodology and most unique talent is that of locating staff via a research based technique grounded on executive search techniques.
We offer a consultative approach towards assessment of clients needs and thereafter propose the most appropriate solution utilising our product offerings.
